What is a traditional relationship?

A traditional relationship is where a man pursues a woman to have a wife. The man would be the provider and protector of the family. It will also be where the man goes out to work and the woman stays at home to nurture and support the family.

The modern relationship is where both individuals pursue each other, and the purpose of this is not to get married and have kids. People have changed the role of the relationship, women are now more independent and want to go out in the world to offer or help to support their family. The relationship can also have both women or both men

Which one should we follow?

It's your choice. Like any tradition, traditions are behaviors passed down within a group or society with symbolic meaning or special significance with origins in the past. Some people "value" traditions and some are not.

So what is the problem?

The problem occurs when a traditional person meets a person that is non-traditional. For example:

  • a strong-independent woman dating a strong, masculine, good-provider man.
  • a "Nice Guy" seeking a strong independent woman as his wife.

Traditional men should be paired with traditional women. It's really that simple.
